PAYMENT AND REFUND
When checking out you will have the option to choose a preferred payment method. Cookinshow does not charge any transaction fees to customers. Website users do not need to deny any express consents in order to prevent extra transaction fees.
Payment can be processed by using one of the following options:
- Paypal (including credit card)
- Credit Card
Customers can use Paypal gateway to pay with a credit card or debit card. It is not necessary to have nor create a Paypal account. Paypal payment gateway is quick and safe. All succesfull payments are promptly and automatically notified via email.
Credit card payment option is processed on secured servers and managed by the online payment gateway company STRIPE. Cookinshow does not have access to purchasers’ credit card datas in any stage of the money transaction.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
Clients have the right to cancel their booking and doing so receive full refund by giving a 48 h cancellation notice prior the show cooking or food box date. Once passed this deadline, clients have no longer the right to cancel their booking and will be charged with a 100% penalty, no matter the reason of the cancellation. Same policy is applied for date change requests. Cookinshow does not pay any compensation nor refund in case of booking cancellations occured due to third parties’ disruptions (eg. airline or cruiselines delays/cancellations).
Show cooking or Food box delivery are run rain or shine. However, Cookinshow.com reserves the right to cancel a show cooking or food box delivery and proceed to refund for safety reasons (eg. floods, earthquakes).
When refund is due, Cookinshow.com will reimburse total amount using the same payment method used by the client at the time of booking. The above mentioned 48 h cancellation policy is also applicable to “partial cancellations” (eg. cancellation of part of the group previously signed in a show cooking) and any other changes made to the original booking.
If you have purchased a service with Cookinshow.com and for some reason you need to cancel and ask a full refund of paid amount, please proceed as it follows.
Whenever you purchase a service with Cookinshow.com you have the right, as a consumer, to receive a full refund of paid amount by sending to Cookinshow.com a cancellation notice at least 48h prior the scheduled show cooking date.
To cancel your reservation please write an email to info@cookinshow.it providing your full name and order number
Cookinshow.com will consider your request and, if conditions are met, you will be fully (and promptly) refunded by Cookinshow.com through the same payment channel you had used at the time of booking. If for any reason, the payment method chosen does not work properly, you will be contacted by Cookinshow.com staff and asked to provide details to proceed other ways.
GENERAL INFORMATION
These general conditions form an integral part of the online contract of sale stipulated between the buyer, which will be referred to below as the “Purchaser”, and Cookinshow regulate its preliminary stages, its settlement and its enforcement.
By ticking the box “I accept the terms and conditions” during the online purchase procedure, the Purchaser accepts all the proposed contractual conditions shown below. In the absence of the declared acceptance of the General Conditions and the Privacy Policy, it will not be possible to complete the online purchase procedure.
Cookinshow reserves the right to modify the General Conditions at any time and without notice. In any case, the changes will have no value on the purchase orders received and concluded before the publication of the changes on the website.
By accepting the General Conditions and sending the purchase order, the Purchaser gives consent for all communications to be sent and received by e-mail. The Purchaser will also be responsible for the correctness of the e-mail address provided and for all information entered in the purchase order.
This agreement is governed by Legislative Decree 206/2005 of Codice del Consumo (Italian Consumer Code), by Legislative Decree 79/2011 of Codice del Turismo (Italian Tourism Code) and by Legislative Decree 70/2003 concerning electronic commerce and, in any case, by the Italian legal system.

CONTRACT OF SALE OF SINGLE TOURIST SERVICES
These contractual rules apply to the offer of single Show cooking that cannot be considered as a tourist package.
SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT AND SERVICES OFFERED
Cookinshow provides individual tasting services. Cookinshow’s core business is represented by tastings. Specifically, Cookinshow offers tastings designed for tourists and conducted by locals at the tourist’s holiday home. The tastings take place in apartments in urban and extra-urban contexts in the form of a “home cook” service, that is, at the holiday homes where tourists stay overnight, and include cooking lessons, demonstrations and even tastings of typical regional dishes to which preparation customers can contribute in a small part and only on request.
SETTLEMENT OF THE CONTRACT
The publications of information and services through cookinshow.com website do not constitute a binding offer in accordance with art. 1336 of Codice Civile (Italian Civil Code).
By sending the purchase order of the chosen tourist service, the Purchaser declares to have fully accepted these General Conditions of Sale and to have read all the information contained in the “Show cooking Policy” on the page with the individual description of each show cooking. The contract of sale of each single tasting service “show cooking” will be considered settled between the Parties when the Purchaser receives the order confirmation e-mail from the Seller containing the summary of the purchase order made by the Purchaser and, in any case, implies that the purchased service has been paid.
PURCHASE ORDER AND ORDER CONFIRMATION OF TOURIST SERVICES
To purchase show cooking, the Purchaser must fill out and submit the order form in an electronic format, following the steps and the instructions found on the website. The Purchaser must add the product to the “Carrello”, enter the requested data and, after having read the Conditions of Sale and the Privacy Policy and confirmed their acceptance, must select the desired payment method and confirm the order. The amount displayed to the Purchaser in this last phase will be the total amount due in relation to the Order that is about to be carried out.
While filling out the form and before submitting the purchase order, the Purchaser will be able to detect and correct any mistakes. If, after submitting the purchase order, the Purchaser realizes that the entered information is incorrect, he will promptly contact Cookinshow.com, which will correct it as per new indications provided by the Purchaser. Once the purchase order has been received, Cookinshow.com will send an order confirmation e-mail.

MEETING POINT AND WAITING POLICY
Cookinshow staff will go to the holiday home indicated by the “Customer”, will wait for any delays for a maximum of 20 minutes, after which Cookinshow will be able to cancel the appointment and a second chance will not be guaranteed. In case of delays, the Purchaser is not entitled to get a refund or compensation.
TERMINATION AND SUBSTITUTIONS
The Purchaser (consumer) can terminate the purchase of the Show cooking service up to 48 hours before the service without penalties and without having specify any reason (if the booking of the service is, for example, for Saturday, the cancellation can take place by 11.59 pm of the previous Thursday). Beyond that term, the Purchaser loses the right to terminate the purchased service and the amount paid at the time of purchase will be fully withheld as a cancellation penalty by Cookinshow.
In case of termination, Cookinshow will refund the purchaser on the same means of payment and, if this is not possible, the consumer will be invited by Cookinshow to provide a different means to receive the refund.
The Purchaser who purchases a tasting service for himself and / or for other people can replace one or more of them with others up to 48 hr days before the show cooking. The replacement of one or more of the participants is not allowed less than 48 hr before the chosen show cooking.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND USEFUL INFORMATION

The food used by Cookinshow’s cooks is bought in the shops and markets on the day the show cooking service takes place; the food is manipulated for demonstration purposes, in fact, they are culinary preparations that take place in a private apartment. Customers can participate in the handling of the dishes only with the exclusive use of gloves; the dishes will be enjoyed for recreational purposes. The customer purchases a service of intellectual performance and teaching of the practical and theoretical culture of cooking. Almost all food contains gluten and / or dairy products.
The Customer is also aware that in order to participate in the tasting he is obliged to report any food intolerance or allergy to the Cookinshow staff.
By accepting these contractual conditions, the Customer declares to relieve Cookinshow and its staff from any liability for any accidents, theft, loss of personal items, illness or death, which may occur during the tastings or subsequent to participation in them.
APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURT
The parties declare they choose the law of the Italian Republic as the law applicable to the contract and to the obligations deriving from it. Thus, they will entirely refer to the Italian judicial system for anything not expressly provided for in this contract.
For civil disputes between Cookinshow and the Purchaser related to the interpretation, enforcement or termination of this contract and the obligations or responsibilities arising from it, the Court of Palermo will be exclusively competent, and not only in derogation from the ordinary territorial jurisdiction but also with the will to exclude optional Courts for the cases related to obligation rights. The Court of Palermo cannot be changed, not even for reasons of stay or consolidation of quarrel.

• The dishes will be enjoyed for recreational purposes and for the purposes of the complete cooking class process
• Food and quantities offered directly by the staff chosen by Cookinshow are to be considered included in the package. Any extras or requests for an encore will not be possible.

• The certificate of “Sicilian cuisine expert” is a simple souvenir.
• The minimum age for the administration of alcohol in Italy is 18 years.

By accepting these contractual conditions, the Customer declares to release Cookinshow and its staff from any liability for any injury, theft, loss of personal items, illness or death, which occurred during the tasting or occurred as a result of participation in it
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations and Refunds
Cookinshow has a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that, if your show cooking is scheduled for Saturday, you can request cancellation of the booking and consequent full refund of the amount paid, no later than 11.59 pm on the previous Thursday by sending an e-mail to info@cookinshow.it. Cancellation requests sent in other ways will not be considered.
Cancellation notifications sent in time will be fully refunded. Once the terms have expired, however, there is no type of reimbursement or compensation.
This policy is also adopted in the event of partial cancellation. This means that if you have booked two or more seats, and one of your travel friends cannot participate, the refund request for one or more participation fees must be notified according to the conditions set out above.
